P.E.A.C.E. Summer Program, operating under PEACE Afterschool Program, Inc., is a non-profit organization as defined by 26 U. S. C. §501(c)(3) and/or (4).

 

P.E.A.C.E. is an acronym for Partnerships in Education to Avoid Criminal Justice System Entry.  The Summer Camp is a continuation of the afterschool program, providing academic enrichment for children during the summer gap in instruction during July and August.

The current available positions are:

​

Teacher                      (Grades 1-2, 3-4 and 5-10) (NYS teaching certification and experience preferred)

Teaching Assistant   (TA certification or associates degree required)

Youth Counselor      (> 3.0 GPA  on report card/transcript  HS senior, graduate, or less than two years of college)

Substitute Teacher

Substitute Teaching Assistant

Substitute Youth Counselor
